Considering Italy just won on penalty kicks after they ran out of overtime, he's going to have to do some significant fast-talking once he gets home. Assuming they let him go home.
I feel the urge to open one of my Barolos. :-)
*after very normal back-and-forth, he turns around and slams the top of his head into his opponent's chest. The ball was nowhere near him, it was purely a reaction to trash-talking.

WHAT a stupid way to end a superb career. I mean, crikey, Z, you're worth, what, eighty five jillion Euros? Hire someone to take the stroppy testotype out behind the Arc de Triomphe and beat the stuffing out of him, but a meltdown in OT during the Cup final?
Deeply disappointed. Not in the score - in the bahviour.
