lagilmanwhy is it, she asked not entirely rhetorically, that some folk think that just because the tiger hasn't bitten them yet, they're somehow immune to tiger bites?
Sometimes the big kitty is a big kitty. Sometimes it's a peevy carnivore with sharp teeth and claws.
