And lo, back in NJ, where it's... well, warm and humid. Ah, joy. Not. And while other folk have said good things about Virgin Air, I was...less thsn impressed. I can only assume that first/business class is much better, with flight attendants who don't feel the need to condescend, among other irritants.



I walked in the apartment door and Boomer looked up, said 'oh, you were gone?" But before I could feel too neglected, the Siamese came out to greet and groom me, and then the small, sleepy, much put-upon voice of "mommy mommy mommy you're home! You bitch!" was heard, and I got to have a snuggle with my best girl.

I get the same treatment too. Then all 5 kitlins sleep on the bed the first night I'm back then ignore me the next day again. I'm getting ready to go to Vegas on Tuesday so my main job on Monday will probably be to try to keep all the cats and cat hair off my suitcase and clothes. What do cats find so fascinating about suitcases anyway? :-0

The other cats pretty much ignore the suitcases, other than smelling them to make sure nothing edible is hiding inside. Pandora, on the other hand, Knows What it All Means when mom gets out the luggage. She hates being left behind almost as much as she'd hate travelling.

We got back to Dallas and everyone was saying, "Oh, you came home at the right time -- it's so cool and nice here!" When I felt the 89 degree temps with 70% humidity, I could have wept.
