And lo, back in NJ, where it's... well, warm and humid. Ah, joy. Not. And while other folk have said good things about Virgin Air, I was...less thsn impressed. I can only assume that first/business class is much better, with flight attendants who don't feel the need to condescend, among other irritants.



I walked in the apartment door and Boomer looked up, said 'oh, you were gone?" But before I could feel too neglected, the Siamese came out to greet and groom me, and then the small, sleepy, much put-upon voice of "mommy mommy mommy you're home! You bitch!" was heard, and I got to have a snuggle with my best girl.

If you've never seen "The Amorous Prawn," you should. Slight and dated, yes, but also laugh out loud funny in a lot of places. And all the sterotypes of the day come across now as loving, not dismissive.
