No writing today on the book-front. Some other things accomplished, however. We'll see if they ever bear fruit. However, Sergei has started making rather pointed comments in my head, just behind the left ear, and a secondary character just kicked his way through the set-scene and demanded dialogue. The natives are getting restless. I love this part.

And, in the "OMG that makes me so happy and so scared all at once" category, home to the news that my friend Doris Egan (late of many very cool shows and wicked-fine novels) has just signed officially to be Co-Executive Producer for HOUSE.

Duuuude. Also, poor House. Heh.

And I read about Doris and I think, man, I've been sitting on this, because I was talking Doris through a bunch of House canon before her interview, and she'd emailed me that things looked pretty good. So I check your lj info to see which of my friends is also your friend - - either koimistress (ta-da!), or rachelcaine. And then I see your username.

And "kid"? *false indignance* While yes, the memory can play tricks on the elderly, may I remind you I am but a few months younger than you are. I'll be 36 at the end of May. If I recall correctly (as I too am elderly), your birthday is right around then as well, no? June? July?
