Sundry and Various
Apr. 5th, 2005 09:38 pmNo writing today on the book-front. Some other things accomplished, however. We'll see if they ever bear fruit. However, Sergei has started making rather pointed comments in my head, just behind the left ear, and a secondary character just kicked his way through the set-scene and demanded dialogue. The natives are getting restless. I love this part.
And, in the "OMG that makes me so happy and so scared all at once" category, home to the news that my friend Doris Egan (late of many very cool shows and wicked-fine novels) has just signed officially to be Co-Executive Producer for HOUSE.
Duuuude. Also, poor House. Heh.

I am now officially hilariously dead.
Date: 2005-04-06 02:49 am (UTC)Hi, Laura Anne Gilman. This is Jessica Ross. A House fan and BSG to boot. Well, damn skippy.
(P.S. coming into town in May to see Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Spamalot - would love to have coffee or a meal and catch up ...)

Date: 2005-04-06 03:07 am (UTC)You say that like it's a bad thing. Dude, you know how much $$ I could raise for the SFWA EMF, with six Sergeis to auction off?
(which reminds me...times running out to pledge for the Revlon Run/Walk! Link is to the side of my LJ...)

Date: 2005-04-06 03:13 am (UTC)And "kid"? *false indignance* While yes, the memory can play tricks on the elderly, may I remind you I am but a few months younger than you are. I'll be 36 at the end of May. If I recall correctly (as I too am elderly), your birthday is right around then as well, no? June? July?
