an open letter
Mar. 11th, 2005 10:28 amDear Mother Nature,
First, I would like to thank you for the wonderful Winter. Word is that we've gotten to the40 50 inch mark for snow. Cool!
That said, can we stop already?
Because it's March 11th. And it's snowing. Again.
And, really. If I'm ready for Spring? Everyone's ready for Spring.
Thank you.

Date: 2005-03-11 03:52 pm (UTC)Got 2 more inches of snow here in Chi-Town!
Nothing rankles more than watching the morning news and seeing that both Billings, MT and Minneapolis, MN are BOTH warmer than here in Chicago.

Post-script
Date: 2005-03-11 03:54 pm (UTC)Could you see you way to sending some of that precipitation to the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S.? We're all a little worried about our water supply, our salmon runs and the dry brittleness of our forests. Rain would help ever so much. Maybe you could send whatever precip you had planned for the east out here instead? Just an idea.
Your most respectful daughter,
scarlettina
