Dear Mother Nature,

First, I would like to thank you for the wonderful Winter. Word is that we've gotten to the 40 50 inch mark for snow. Cool!

That said, can we stop already?

Because it's March 11th. And it's snowing. Again.

And, really. If I'm ready for Spring? Everyone's ready for Spring.

Thank you.

At least the snow's not sticking. That's something.

Seriously. Enough. I don't even mind it being cold for a while longer, but I'm so, so sick of snow.

Wordy Mc Word!

Got 2 more inches of snow here in Chi-Town!

Nothing rankles more than watching the morning news and seeing that both Billings, MT and Minneapolis, MN are BOTH warmer than here in Chicago.

Dear, dear Mother Nature,

Could you see you way to sending some of that precipitation to the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S.? We're all a little worried about our water supply, our salmon runs and the dry brittleness of our forests. Rain would help ever so much. Maybe you could send whatever precip you had planned for the east out here instead? Just an idea.

Your most respectful daughter,
scarlettina

Another reason I'm glad not to be in New Jersey!

It's going to be 80 degrees here today.

You may bitch-slap me now.

One year, we got 117 inches. While I am happy to do without the resulting overland spring flooding, we really could have used more precipitation. :sigh: And spring is allergy season. (Actually, allergy season stretches from the spring thaw to the first snow fall of autumn. :sigh:)

My sympathies!

Ask Esther if she'll bring some Texas weather back with her -- that should dry up your area nicely.
