When is the cutoff? Unfortunately, I can't send money to anything but bills until the first of the month!

No cutoff! This isn't like Kickstarter - we'll be going for the duration of the project, one paid installment a month (the story, and whatever comes with the level of backing), and I am assuming that you can catch up whenever you come in....
