You can say that the majority of citizens are Christian, sure. That does not make the United States a 'Christian nation.' It certainly does not make the separation of Church and State "a myth."

Excuse me. I have to go check the Canadian immigration laws again.

Thanks....

For editorializing...I was just posting this myself, but trying to be very good, as you'll see.

The problem with emigrating is, I don't think they will take me at my age unless I am working in a critically needed industry. I had friends leave 25 years ago, when Reagan came in--they just became citizens last year.

They have RMTs, and a lot of writers, too....

And I consider myself at least half Christian, which is the really ridiculous thing. 60% of the Christians have to leave, too...

The hell with the idea of leaving this country to that kind of thing. Not a chance.

Well, that's my attitude, too--I keep gently but firmly nagging people throughout this election year.

Too many people think weird things like that can't happen in this country. Damn right they can--we had concentration camps in this country. We had McCarthy. If we stop paying attention, all $%$# can break loose.

Down here it has--our state reps had to hide out of state to try and prevent massive gerrymandering of the state house and senate. Didn't work--which is partly why this election is so important.

So I can joke about it, but this is my country, and I'm willing to write letters, to demonstrate, to vote...and to think about more drastic measures if necessary.

This country will not become fascist on my watch, not if I can help it. That's my fear--that people do not understand what "fascism" means....
