of his, so long it left him and his alone.

And when it begins to concern you?

Malech looked away from the Guardian, and focused all of his attention on Jerzy’s careful, if halting, movements with the vials. It was a valid question the Guardian asked. He just didn’t know what the answer would be.

I shall now sit here. Alone (with the cats) in the dark (okay, in a patch of sunlight) and worry (yes worry) and hope that you enjoy it....

::laughs:: at least cats always make good company! I've always thought it was a brilliant idea, and now - with all my work finished - I will start the book tonight! I've done a few pages already, and it seems good, and since prologue stuff is rarely the most invigorating part of a book I'm sure it gets even better!
