Tuesday starting slow...

Sleepless night + active brain + too much to do = me wasting too much of the morning with needful but small things (emails about covers, clearing away recyclables so I can see my desk, checking to make sure everything I have to do in the next ten days is on my calender...)

I think today may be one of my "extra cups of coffee" days, just so I can settle down and work.

So. Have to write a blog entry this week. Shall I write about:

a) the fine art of cover conferencing from a distance (the author's experience vs the editor's experience)
or
b) what happens when an Idea bites you on the ass while you're on deadline with half a dozen other things



Also: some writers post playlists of the music they listen to while writing a book. I've been joking that I should post a wine list. Y/N?

Sure. I can get a vicarious pleasure from that (I'm allergic to most wines now, including some of the reds that I used to be able to drink.)
