For those who might be wondering... no I did not have a heart attack, an aneurysm, or sprain anything.

No thanks to the frakkin Giants, who made me suffer for it. Oy.

Guys, brilliant, hard-fought game, you looked mostly-fabulous, but enough with the field goals instead of the touchdowns, ok? Our lives will last longer if you stop doing that.

[on the other hand, way to shut down the Dallas housewarming party. *evil toothy grin*]

EtA: not that the person I said it to will testify, but damnit, when Eli first took the field his freshman year, I said he was going to be a QB in the style of Phil Baby (Simms). Cool, precise under pressure, steady when it gets hot... now if we could lick that time-clock management problem once and for all...

Anything that gives pain to the Cowboys is fine by me. I have to admit it sure looked for a while like the Giants were going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, something we Bengals fans are intimately familiar with.

Eli will never get over his time management problems. Nor will he ever be as good as Simms.

Unfortunately. I speak as a New York Football Giants fan of fifty years' standing.

Now if we can only start selling as well as that other Giants fan of long standing - GRRM.

As you know, not really a fan of the Big Blue, but anybody who beats the Cowboys is fine by me. :) Especially in their ZOMG BIG SUPERSIZED TEXAS HOME OPENER. *gag*

I turned on the tube to see Jerry Jones' smiling mug telling us how wonderful that ode to excess he calls a stadium is, and all I wanted to do was throw up. Maybe it's my Midwestern upbringing, but excess and arrogance like that is just too much.

As a long time Cowboys fan [forgive me, I was very young] I went to bed before half time knowing we would lose. I really miss Troy and Roger.
