And...that's all I got. Leverage rocked, but I spent most of my time last night talking/tweeting about the President's speech, and CongressIdiot Rudeniks, so my thoughts are still scattered, and I expect them to be Even More Scattered later on, since I have tix to see A STEADY RAIN tonight.

Yes, the new play staring Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman. Yes, that play. If the acting holds up to what I've heard of the writing, it should be a fascinating, if depressing, evening. I'll let you know tomorrow.

And I was starting to wonder if you weren't going to mention that not-so-honorable Congressman from South Carolina. (I wonder how many of the people who live in that guy's district are embarrassed this morning?) That sort of behavior makes me think that people are taking their behavioral cues from watching the WWE.

The timesink isn't so much the problem for me as the great potential for sticking foot-in-mouth. With a post like this, I can set it aside for a few minutes (or a 1/2 hour or more) while I do some work, and then edit it to remove any really stupid comments that I didn't really intend. Twitter provides me with a great temptation that I'll fire something off without thinking first. (There's a reason why my boss loves my technical skill but wants me to work on my people skills.)

*laugh* I've got a pretty decent filter until I'm really tired or have gone over the allotted fingers of scotch, but the most important lesson I ever learned was "don't e-mail anyone after 10pm." I always wake up and think "oh, I should NOT have done that..." even when it was completely innocent -- I'm just not always considering the long game, at that point.

they figure if you are having two, then butter and syrup might be involved.. or, when two waffles are in close proximity they become denser through a bio-waffle reaction.

That I actually moved to and now reside in South Carolina continues to be a source of embarrassment for me. Of course, I moved out of Florida, so it was only a small step down the humiliation by association trail. Despite good weather in general and lovely scenery, I soooo want out of the South.

Of course the waffle box lies. It's waffling. Some of those waffles contain extra, secret, hidden calories they don't want to tell you about
