Meanwhile, am doing one last run-through on PACK OF LIES before it goes into production, also cleaning out my in-box, and thinking about some other projects. New short story is asking me to bleed into it. Not quite ready to do that. We're staring each other down. [It will win. It always does...] Problem is, it's also coming down as a very subtle, quiet story -- that's bloody and messy and deep-rooted-anguish-y. So it's being Complicated in the writing. *pokes at story a little more, drinks more tea, pokes again*


EtA: my gitupadngo has fkcking went. Calling this a shortened day, and will pick things up again tomorrow.
