See... one of the great crimes? I can't touch any wine. Migraines. So, really I'm SO far outside of this it amuses on many levels. But still, for an ARC? I'd consider a migraine.

well, mizkit thinks wine is nasty, and she liked the book, so maybe there's hope yet...

Darlin, it's your book. Of course it'll be fine. I just can't be a wine blogger. (sigh) So I've no chance at an ARC. But that's fine. I'll sit in the dark. Over here. It's ok. You go talk to your real friends, I'll be here. Waiting. On my own. It's good that you have such a rich life. I'm glad you're doing so well. Out there. I feel better knowing you do so well. (pat pat) So go. Enjoy yourself. I'll just dust the spot I would've put the ARC. It helps me remember what you look like, if I do these things. Daily.

And Susan, the mother, wondered why guilt does not work on me. This? Is what I grew up with.

I do it fairly well in person too. I can normally get to the final bit before I crack up, totally deadpan.
