we interrupt this non-report to say...
May. 20th, 2009 10:23 pmSome women impulse-buy shoes, or handbags. Me? Fountain pens. This morning I was mugged (mugged, I say!) by a pretty little silver pen that demanded to come home with me. Who was I to say no?
After, collected
vincam from her flight, and traipsed her all over Manhattan, from the Seaport to the Union Square Greenmarket to the UES back to Chateau Felidae, and thence to red meat and fresh veggies for dinner. And now I have to deal with the large amount of work-related e-mail that piled up while I was gallivanting. And I can't even use my pretty new pen on it. *sads*
Tomorrow, mellowing closer to home, getting some work done, and thence on to Bruuuuuce at the Old Stomping Grounds, and thence on to DC for the Library of Congress presentation (if you're in the DC area, come see us talk about e-publishing and Book View Cafe!) and from there to Balticon, where I will be until Monday...
