There does seem to be a significant amount of buzz out there, in that this is 'something new', a rarity in the fantasy genre.

I've been talking it up at the bookstores I visit, so far all I have from one B+N is a promise to put it on the front display for a few days...

well, let's see how the publisher talks to the stores, and then put the push on. :-) Right now, my concern is getting off-the-bookpage notice ahead of publication. Eeeep.
