Only crazy if you're not in the mood to romp and tussle. She's a shih-tzu. They're all about People Pleasing and People-Announcing, and People-being-with, and the more people there are the more she's in her element. NOT a shy, retiring princess, no.

My first ever dog was a shih-tzu. And she had crazy-brain! I loved her very much, but she WAS nuts. Poor Clancy!

yeah, puppies are not self-cleaning in quite the same way. Mei-mei gets a bath every week, and sees the groomer probably more than is good for her princess-ego. :-) (But she is soooo adorable when she comes back all clipped, like an expensive plush toy)
