The painting is done. The new oven and microwave have been delivered. Everything stands at-ready, waiting only for the tile.

and how are the cats taking it?

When the delivery guys arrived this morning with the appliances, both cats, assuming the worst, assumed the position (tail last seen fleeing into the bedroom). They're still there, curled up sleeping. Eventually they'll wander back and resume their usual Working Positions around my desk.

(last night a friend came over and Boomer hid under the coffee table, only reluctantly being coaxed out.)
