Happiness is making it to Friday and not killing even the people who needed killin'.

Happiness is having a rockin' wine store...that delivers for free. From Manhattan. Seriously. And no, I didn't spend that much money! (the per-bottle came to about $16. Er, excluding That One Bottle).

Happiness is starting out the day feeling very meh on the work front...and then coming to the end of the day and discovering that, in addition to getting a list o' things crossed off, you've also put down almost 2000 new words.

Happiness is waking up and knowing you've got a fun day, sprinkled with occasional work, and social stuff for the evening spread out ahead of you.

Happiness is having a 20-pound puma-wannabe climb into your lap and start purring, while the 8 pound Duchess sprawls across your desk, carefully not blocking the monitor like a good little girl

What's your Happiness is...?

That's one thing that sucks about PA -- state-controlled liquor stores, so there's no shopping variety, crappy store hours, and no delivery. Sigh.

I'm with you on the not killing front...although my day's only just starting...

ROFLMAO! You know now that the next time I go to the state store I'm going to think about trading toilet paper or frozen chickens for wine, right? ;-)

"Er, excluding That One Bottle"

Might one inquire about that bottle?

Happiness would be getting a lot done, but that hasn't happened all week. I'll be working this weekend. *sigh*

Ooooh! I love Feuillatte champagne!

I don't like champagne very much. Unless it's very dry and VERY expensive. I'd rather have a rich tannic red, like the bottle that you brought to Middletown with you.

I'm not as young as I used to be. :sigh:

My happiness--

A 2 hour delay to go to school this morning. I should take a nap, but instead I had the time to leisurely read LJ as well as work on a long section of the Short Story Threatening To Become A Novel--or Novella--or Novelette--or whatever it is.

I'm so with you on making it to Friday without killing anyone--and I had two sick days in this week!

Happiness is also knowing that the book you need for an online writing class has just appeared at the closest Powell's, which means there's an excuse to go to Powell's today (even if it is the suckiest Powell's for sf/f of the chain)! And buy more tea at the tea store near Powell's.

Happiness is breathing through my nose for the first time in my life. (sinus surgery ftw!)

Happiness is going to yoga classes at a yoga studio I love.

Happiness is realizing my honey loves me even when I'm hating myself :-p

Happiness is definitely a purring kitten snuggled up next to me :)

Happiness is knowing all the bills are paid and I can still go out to dinner and buy the newest LAG book when it comes out :-D

Happiness is putting the down payment on next year's "Happy 75th Birthday, Mom" cruise to the Caribbean! Only 11 more months to go!!

Booze delivered to my door...I'm not sure if that would be a good thing. But, it would certainly be a happy thing! Alas, they do not do that in Nova Scotia.

Happiness is knowing that within a week I will be typing "the end"

Happiness is playing fetch with Jackson, who was never taught the game but just knows it.

Happiness is dinner plans for tomorrow night out with friends

Happiness is crawling into bed early after a good work day.

There you go, you wino! ;-) Enjoy your bottle! And I want to know what One Bottle is.

Ah, the bubbly! Champagne is about the only wine I still drink, and I think it suits all occassions and foods. It's always champagne time. Well, not for the next 38 days, but generally.

Happiness is having a brand new niecelet to adore.

You were the first person I thought of when I saw this on lifehacker: http://lifehacker.com/5161805/celebrate-open-that-bottle-night

Niecelets are good. :)

Oh! Plus I admired the mass market editions of "Bring It On" and "Curse the Dark" on the New Arrivals rack at Uncle Hugo's earlier today. I already have the trades, so...
