Super Sunday

The apartment smells like chili* (gee, I wonder why) the cats are wondering why mom's not at her desk, and I have been informed that I should be rooting for Pittsburgh, as Pitt is still #1 Nephew's front-runner school choice.

I'd rather have had the Giants playing today, natch, but it will be fun to just kick back with friends and watch the game without the accompanying agita. And either way, there will be Stadium Cake! :-) And don't forget the halftime show! *is Bruce-cheerful*


For those about to couch, we raise our beer and chips in salute. The rest of the world, we'll see you on Monday morning.

You have a nephew who wants to go to Pitt? That's awesome! I used to work there a long time ago, and I still keep in touch with folks in the Honors College. It really is a great place to go to school.

Yeah, he went for a campus visit last year and fell in love with it, and apparently they love him too. SO now we're just waiting to see if one of his other loves will knock them off the #1 spot...

Bruce is playing happy-party songs. I guess I shouldn't expect "The Rising" at Super Bowl Halftime.

Scooterbird and I are having a one-human/one-cockatiel SB party. The shrimp has been consumed. The RoTel is next up. I haven't decided what after that, but I suspect the fresh flour tortillas I bought yesterday will play a part. I have laundry going (I was racing this morning and didn't get home until about 4:30pm). Kinda quiet here at Nuevo Casa del Crider Sur. I'm doing various away-from-TV chores during the game so as not to miss the commercials. Like the Ashley Madison.com ad that just ran. WTF, over?
