A question for fans of the Retrievers series.... and the rest of you.

While I was working on Free Fall and Blood From Stone, I was putting together PB's backstory in my head -- and writing it down as a short story set before the events in Staying Dead. Portions of that story were used in those books, and so I've never done anything with the story itself....

But there is, apparently, some fannish interest in reading it. So. If I were to put it into an easily downloadable PDF format and post it at BookView Cafe, would you toss a few coins in the storyteller's bowl?

I clicked $1, but I'd be willing to pay up to $5. I figured I'd click on the highest number, since "more than ten cents" is a hair vague....

hrm. well, I wanted to leave an option for people who were cash-poor, but would want to pay more than "nothing".... and I'm not going to charge $5 for a short story! If people wanted to donate that I'd be thrilled, but I'd never ask it!

But how do you pay BVC? I have read several stories from your fellow authors, but I have never seen how I could send a check to one of you. I don't use Paypal and on-line credit card use is not something I like to do. Is there a receiver-general account for the BVC?

we're in the process of setting up a premium content section, including payment options (for now, paypal enabled). Updates when we have it certified user-ready.

(we looked into non-paypal accounts, but they all required either a higher minimum than we felt comfortable asking for the short fiction, or took too large a percentage of each transaction)
