And so, the Silly Season begins tomorrow, with the Wintertide party here. Then the annual Shapiro Family Chinese Dinner Gathering, then off to NJ for a mini-reunion with my old high school posse, and then down to Florida for the New Year, and then down to DC for the Inauguration.

And then I will be quite content to hole up in the apartment and not be Social at all for at least a month. Which is a good thing,'cause there are, y'know, books due.

But for now... it's [almost] officially winter!

You'll be in DC? That's wonderful. And it's probably going to be a very crowded Inauguration. Let me know if you have time or interest in a cuppa.

We're down in New Orleans most of January but will be back in time for the Disability Inaugural Ball and then the Inauguration itself.
