update to the "Help Vera" campaign

If you've been following the "help Vera" campaign, I've just posted an offer of a submission critique -- cover letter, synopsis, and first three chapters, to make sure everything's 100% before you actually submit.

Minimum bid is $30, which is less than my normal hourly rate. is now up to $75 now up to $150. is now up to $200.

IN other news, what Friday brought, apparently, was the swift onset of the Ugh. Sore throat and headache and waves of dizziness. I spent most of the day sleeping and flipping through catalogs. I am now being fortified by spicy wonton soup and cold sesame spinach noodles, and then I am going back to bed.

Thanks. Still not 100% (barely 70%, truthfully) but able to putter around and get things done that would be ignored if I were well enough to work (recycling papers, restocking the pantry, etc). Frustrating, but useful.
