Today I went online and ordered some things from BN.com. $25-and-up, so free shipping. Cool. I get an e-mail a few hours later that says my stuff's ready to ship. Dayum, they're better than Amazon. Rock on!

Fast forward to this evening around 6pm. My doorbell rings. "Delivery."

Wh?

Oh, right. B&N has in-city same-day delivery. No post awful, just a driver and a van. 8 hours, order to deliver.

Rock on, B&N.

(part of that order, BTW, included the Cary Grant box set: The Awful Truth * His Girl Friday * Holiday * Only Angels Have Wings * The Talk of the Town. Fire up the popcorn and pop the sparkly!)

hmmm... I didn't know that about B&N. I wonder if they do that in Philadelphia too? Of course, I'm out in the 'burbs now, so even if they have Philly-same-day-delivery, it likely doesn't apply to Blue Bell.
