Also, to anyone I saw too-briefly at the SFWA mill-n-swill last night [Ron, Steve, etc] I apologize for not spending more time shmoozing, but I was starting to feel what indeed turned out to be a massively nasty headache, and the lights there, while great for observing art, were not so much for comfortable conversation on my part....

Must be something spreading west. I suddenly (from one minute to the next) got a huge migraine on Monday afternoon. I let my class go 30 minutes early and went home to bed. Almost 48 hours later, I still have a shadow of the pain, but mostly it's gone.
