lagilmanI have officially killed my projected word count dead on Vineart 1 (by about 15,000 words, which for me is scary-crazy). Thankfully, I am told there's deadwood in the first half I can go back and prune, which I will be doing starting this weekend. And since it never rains but it pours: my revision notes for HARD MAGIC just landed, as did the copy edit for BLOOD FROM STONE

check out Jon Stewart's take on "Real America" versus "Fake America" (I had a YouTube link for the excerpt but it went byebye) because sometime the best joke writers in the world can't match the surreal WTFkery that comes out of politicians' mouths. Stewart's expression after Palin's speech is just beyond priceless.
