Date: 2008-10-11 05:45 pm (UTC)Actually, technically, I'm sort of under contract for 3, because both TRUTHSEEKER and WAYFINDER are due next year, but I intend to write TRUTHSEEKER during NNWM, so it, uh, doesn't count. Right? So *really* I only have two books to write next year. And a bunch of comic scripts, assuming all goes well, but we won't count those. And there's that screenplay I'd like to write. Date: 2008-10-11 10:45 pm (UTC)Give it another couple of decades, though, and chances are all of them will be correct, although the spelling of the word 'two' and the use of auxiliary verbs will be considered archaic to the point of quirkiness.

Date: 2008-10-12 12:01 pm (UTC)Yep, I'm one of those "communication over accuracy" people. Weep all you want, I had to read Chaucer in his original form in order to nail my degree, and am fine with ongoing language drift.
