Yeah, that's one of the versions I like. For the first five times each season I hear it. Then it needs to die a terrible death.

(I'd love the Winter holiday season if it started on December 15th (or whenever Channukah falls that year) and ended on the 1st of January, and that was it for another 12 months....)

Waves from California!!!

Little Drummer Boy! Odd coincidence. I'm Jewish as well and that was always my favorite Christmas story when I was a kid. My Christian/Catholic friends thought it was wierd as out of all the cartoons, that was the most religious. I do find it interesting that it hasn't been shown on TV during the holidays in a long long time. Just an observation.

it's not polite to have such blatantly Christian programs on TV. the other religions don't have any good programs to run against/in conjunction with them.

Maybe because it was religious, and not commercial? It's such a simple little story, and very true to the storyline -- and no damn reindeer or santas....

I like the song mainly for the music, though. Pretty little tune, if repetitive.

It's on ABC Family every year during their 25 Days of Christmas (a different Christmas special or movie every night from 12/1 to 12/25, with 12/25 culminating in a 24-hour marathon of A CHRISTMAS STORY).
