Not quite that Friday Feeling...
Jun. 26th, 2008 07:05 pmJust to make sure -- everyone has heard that the government says it's okay to not open your e-mail (I guess because it's not a Federal concern?) and therefore have no responsibility for whatever's conveyed therein? So if you're getting, oh, dunning notices from the IRS electronically? No worries, mate! If you don't open them, never happened! Not your problem!
Anyway. I am in Tennessee. I have eaten catfish, gone antiquing (and resisted, damn it, the art nouveau mirror), been molested by a large fuzzy cat and a small enthusiastic puppy, and not yet said "Ah tell you whut" but the accent is definitely starting to slip in. There may be writing tonight. Or we may justbitch talk a lot about writing. Tomorrow, we have to work for a living.

Date: 2008-06-28 02:26 am (UTC)One of the enticements we're using to attract folks to an autocross I'm co-chairing up in Oscoda (Hold up your left hand, back towards you. Oscoda is about where the middle knuckle on your index finger meets Lake Huron) the 2nd weekend in July is one of our famous catfish/hushpuppy/pickle fries for participants. My co-chair's from SE Missouri. I'm from Oklahoma. We fry stuff. And we have achieved a national reputation for the catfish and hushpuppies (the pickles are a recent add).
