Dunkin' Donuts yanks Rachael Ray ad

Does Dunkin’ Donuts really think its customers could mistake Rachael Ray for a terrorist sympathizer? The Canton-based company has abruptly canceled an ad in which the domestic diva wears a scarf that looks like a keffiyeh, a traditional headdress worn by Arab men.

Some observers, including ultra-conservative Fox News commentator Michelle Malkin, were so incensed by the ad that there was even talk of a Dunkin’ Donuts boycott.

My sister watches her show - she sounds totally wired even when she's not drinking coffee. The commercials I've heard on the radio are enough to make even me (who is trying to figure out how to attach a caffeine I-V) want to give up coffee.

She cannot possibly have been THAT stupid. On the other hand, I'm sure that she feels she has gotten War On Terra points for having taken out the dangerous and difficult American white woman capitalist spokesperson.
