mid-day station identification
Mar. 31st, 2008 01:13 pm2600 new words on Bonnie#1. Most of them are dialogue, though, so I still have to go back and add in the grounding bits.
I could probably plow forward and do another 1000 before my afternoon/evening obligations, but there's all this Other Stuff that's piling up. E-mails to return, phone calls to make, and Essential Paperwork to handle, etcetera etcetera. And some client-work, too. Bother. Why is it this stuff only ever piles up when I don't really have the brainpower to deal with it?

Date: 2008-03-31 06:25 pm (UTC)I sometimes (not always) work this way, too, and feel somehow that I ought not to (that the grounding details ought to be organically written in at the same time as the dialogue is laid down) - when in fact it doesn't have to matter in which order they're layered in - so it's good for me to hear that others write this way also.
