In other news of the feline sort.... I give up. My apartment exists so that the felines have things/people to climb on, walk over, and sleep upon. That's all.

If it were just Pandora I wouldn't be so exasperated -- she's small enough to fit among the glassware and, so long as I don't startle her, not do damage [electronics are another matter, obviously, and have have been dealt with]. Boomer, bless him, is not clumsy (he's a cat, after all), he's just big and easily spooked. So far he hasn't knocked over anything that couldn't be repaired, but considering the amount of art glass and antiques I have, it's probably just a matter of time. And then he will look sorrowful and hide under the sofa until I coax him out with reassurances that I know he didn't mean to do that....

I should go buy some Museum Gel, shouldn't I?

Reminds me of having a toddler. Yes, some museum gel, or do you have a china closet or some other enclosed glass-fronted object to display your Cool Stuff?

Yes, to Museum Gel. Cats are meant to climb and be curious. Bloomer is just being a cat. Sticking his nose (and/or whole body) into things he shouldn't.
