Well, one thing remains constant, no matter where we live. The felines still follow me from room to room, settling down to sleep wherever I sit. I'm rearranging some of the furniture to make sure they each have suitable spots to lounge. That seems only fair (and keeps them the %*#@ off the desk!).

And with said feline assistance, progress is made. The freelance project has been tackled and subdued (it always amuses me when I get a copy assignment for a friend's book). Client project is almost finished (huzzah!). New client project awaits final paperwork. And we're still waiting for revision notes from Madame Editrix. Am starting to get nervous about that. Not in terms of what she's going to ask, but fitting everything into a workable schedule. I'd rather not have any flat-out multiple-project mad rushes right now, thanks anyway.

Today, I tuck into some seriously significant new writing. Which is good, because PUPI character development is starting to crowd up the back-brain rooms. Like it wasn't crowded enough back there already? I can tell already that the boys are going to be Trouble, bless their magically-geeky selves...

I love reading that pros also cater to their cats by making special places in their office.

I don't know how you find the time to do it all! I am tired just reading about what you have cleared and have still waiting on your plate.

I know the feeling. My job is a never ending pit of work.
