This sort of thing happens to me a lot, except with a 100 pound German shepherd playing the role of the cat.

This morning, I woke up and he was the cream in a pillow oreo. Somehow -- WHILE I SLEPT -- he managed to not only get behind my head but get between the pillows and not wake me up the entire time. How such a large, clumsy dog manages this is beyond me. :)

I have two pillows. Sorta. One's for me, the other is for my cat. Luckily, he knows which is which, and plays nice. Most of the time.

the problem with Pandora is that, in addition to being camera shy, her elegant little form generally has two expressions:

1. Madame Duchesse deigns not to notice you, peon scum
2. Mommy I wuvvvv you.

expression #2 is seen much more rarely, and taking a photo of it would pretty much ruin the marshmallow-human moment..

I have - quite literally - programmed myself to take my pillow off the bed and out of reach until I'm ready to use it.

Otherwise, either Rupert or Dru (the only two allowed in the bedroom unless there are a bajillion guests and they need to actually hide) will leave part of their coat where I'd prefer to have bamboo/cotton mix fabric, and my face.
