Dec. 18th, 2007 03:14 pmI <3 Chris Dodd.

"Dodd spent nearly 10 hours on the Senate floor Monday, assaulting the administration's secret warrantless wiretapping program and channeling Senator Frank Church, whose investigation in the 1970s of the nation's intelligence services clandestine led to Congressional limits on government spying."
No amnesty for telecoms! Let's keep the pressure on, so when they come back from the winter break, they know EXACTLY how the American public wants this settled!
And for those of you wondering why I hate Joe Lieberman? I called his office yesterdsay morning to find out how he was going to come down on this issue. I asked a staffperson, rather politely, what Joe's stance on this was...and they hung up on me.
I called again, and nobody answered.
I called a third time, and was rather frostily informed that "the Senator has not issued a statement on this yet." As the filibuster was in progress, he hadn't actually decided which side was going to pay out better for him.
Joe? You stink up the joint. And not in a good stinky-cheese way, either.
