SFWA Agents & Editors Reception in NYC last night -- much fun, good to see friends new and old, topping off a day filled with meetings and meals. Got home well after midnight, and was up at 6am for what looks to be the start of a few weeks of OMGwheeee! of the very busy sort.

So if I'm not around all that much, it's not that I don't love you. And if/when I do show up, forgive me if I'm less than coherent....

Sorry to have missed you last night. It was Christina's birthday, and I made the only choice possible as to where to be.

Sounds like you are busy, but if you get a minute, I'd love to hear what you thought of last week's CSI (assuming you managed to see it).

I haven't seen it, and I may not. Am still annoyed at lame-ass wimp-out direction it all took. Hopefully the show will shake itself out post-strike, but fear the shark ain't only in my icon...

I only watch sporadically, but I felt like I'd missed a whole lot of something for them to get where they were last week. Amy (who watches every week) also had trouble understanding how they got this point. I suppose that speaks to the direction of which you spoke.

It was very nice seeing you last night! When Kelli and I left around 11, we tried to find you downstairs to say goodbye but you'd already taken off. Anyway, congrats on the Green Man review, as well as the other good news you told me!
