one (1) five pound bag of candy.

90 minutes.

As per last year, the kids who didn't bother with costumes had to sing out 'trick or treat' extra loud.

And Boomer played 'Fraidy Cat to the delight of the kids who saw him sitting next to the gargoyle.

I love this neighborhood.

And now, if you'll excuse me, there are several bits of chocolate kept aside that are calling my name.

My daughter bought $35 worth of candy (at Costco!) for tonight that we also went through in about an hour and a half

We got our usual number of trick-or-treaters this year: zero.

I think we've gotten three in the 10 years since we've lived here.

That's the difference between living on a busy street and not, I guess.

They take the kids from around my apartment complex to all the participating residents. I dressed up as Dumbledore and handed out tons of candy. I had fun. The real little kids were adorable...
