I have been up and working since 7am. I need to take a break but am almost afraid to. The brain seems to have been partitioned overnight, and I am multitasking quite efficiently. Now if only my body could do the same, because I need to go to the market, and the gym, and I'm supposed to have A Social Thing tonight...

Typical of the Russians to keep something like this in an apartment, though I once had a landlord who bought a cheetah for an infant relative and kept it in his flat in Karachi (ended in tears). I think it's a fishing cat, as someone else says. If I'm translating correctly, the comment reads something like 'I want your enormous cat!' - very similar to the remarks on your own thread, actually.
