TV news: forgive me, for I have sinned. I watched Moonlight again. And yaknow? If this had been the first episode I saw, I might not have hated it. Because not so much with the stupid cheese. Cheese, yeah, but...not overwhelmingly stupid. This episode, anyway. And his old friend the obscenely wealthy vamp is great, in the 'small doses are better than a large one' way. Soundtrack still annoys the spit out of me, though.

Foodie news: It's official, Igourmet.com has joined the list of sites that should be blocked off my browser. *facepalms*

Writing News: I am such a geek. I cracked myself up by referencing the Department of Miscellaneous Affairs. No Melville Greenspan, tho. Yet.

Random: I have lovely purple irisis on my table. Are there more lovely flowers than irises? I don't think so. And tarragon mustard is one more way the universe tells us to be happy and savor our food. Mmmmm. (in this instance, as a thin layer on the surface of rare grilled top sirloin. The cats are not the only ones purring at Ch. Felidae tonight)

And now I must go back to work, for I intend to *gasp* take ALL DAY off tomorrow.

*snicker* Someone ... I can't remember who-- wrote a tiny little ficlet where there was a Department of Trivial Affairs, with the seven or eight fans in question. With a hot tub they'd diverted from somewhere Upstairs. They were even farther down the food-chain that MA. We could get work there!

I watched Moonlight and gave up. Too many thefts from Whedon. I just couldn't take it. Of course I may have just been in a mood. as they say.

Wheedon? I'd have said that the creator of "Forever Knight" had a far better case, myself. Exvept there's not quite so much angst here, thank god. There is much to be said for a (relatively) young vamp...

I watched Moonlight. And Blood Ties. But anyhow, about Moonlight. I was surprised with how fast they are whipping through what I thought they'd stew on all season. Revealing to Romantic Love Interest that he's a vampire. Then in the next episode (according to the scenes) that he will . . .

That he's going to chew on her. I mean, the big cliche vampire moments are whipping past at a good clip. This is surprising, though a good thing. I just wonder if they'll move onto something less cliche soon. I have a crazy urge to play Mystery Science Theater with it though. Uh oh. There's a panel for WFC.
