I love the start of the new tv season: I actually remember to watch things.

Bionic Woman: heard good things at ComicCon, mostly borne out. Definite female empowerment stuff going on along with the unapologetically slashy vibes, but heroine and crazy villian are both babes and there are boy-pretties, so there's something for everyone. I'll give it a few more episdes to see how things go.

Life: I'm not sure if it was meant to be so funny or I'm just twisted that way, but I really, really liked this. He's totally fkcued up, and so is his partner, and his ex-partner is a case of his own, and their boss is either dirty or a player or both and however they play it I'll be along for the ride. "I am not attached to this car." Nope, he's not. It's zen all the way down, baby.

CSI: Spoon. Heart. Uneaten, but not relaxing just yet. (I actually didn't think the epiode was as good as it could have been, but it's done, the summer of waiting is over, here's my still-beating heart, have at it with the next spoon...)

Spent the day in the part-time office, doing what it is I do there (mainly, organizing and calming chaos), and hiding from the weather. Still waiting for the promised storms that will bring the promised cooler weather. Stupid summer, doesn't know when it's time to leave. But in the meanwhile, the brain continues to work. As per earlier comments the new project now has a villian, and the hero has a name. Yay. And the short story that CGAG critted last month has been re-tweaked, hopefully successfully.

Maybe tomorrow I'll sleep all day.

Maybe not.

I'm giving Bionic Woman another couple episodes to grab me. (The dialogue was *awful*, but hey, that never stopped Babylon 5. ) But hey, you know, Katee Sackhoff being Evil can counteract a lot of ills. ;)

Chuck was oddly charming, though I'm not sure how long it'll be before the Alias-meets-The 40-Year-Old Virgin shtick gets old, though.

Haven't had a chance to watch Journeyman or Reaper yet, but they're on TiVo waiting for me. Too busy reveling in the return of The Office now. :)

Watching Bionic Woman tomorrow.

Life and CSI were quite nice. I especially liked the last minute or so of Life and how it hinted at things to come and a deeper complexity.

Of course you are twisted that way. This is a problem?

(SOMEONE had to say it, we were ALL thinking it anyhow)
