Aug. 6th, 2007 02:09 pmETA: continuing the theme of the day, connectivity at ch. felidae is frelled. If you sent e-mail I'll get back to you when I can. if you need me ASAP -- call.
And lo, the weary traveler arrives home (at least for three days). The cats are noisy and clingy (and after a week of Willow-the-furry-hassock, Boomer looks almost svelte!), and the very important check that I've been expecting since the 23rd still hasn't arrived. The relief and the cranky are warring for dominance.
but there is diet coke and feather pillows and the rest of the mail to sort through, and later there will be chinese food, as soon as I convince Pandora to let me out of her sight for a second....
And I did get my day's wordge done on the train home from the airport (plus about 4 hours of almost-uninterrupted, almost-comfortable sleep on the plane). So that was good.
and oh yeah. HATES American Airlines, home of the "we don't give a flying fkcu about your travel experience." stupid *deleteds* who thought the passengers in the rows in front of them couldn't hear their "too bad for them" comments about passengers who missed meals and connections and didn't even get the oj that I saw poured (but never offered) in the galley....

Date: 2007-08-07 06:56 am (UTC)This (above) is exactly how I feel about American Eagle. Crab. Crab Crab. CRAB CRAB CRAB CRAB CRAB!
Stabbity * stabbity * stabbity!
AA is usually good here, but that's because the hub is Dallas. If Texans get unhappy, they troop right over to SWA, which is 95% perfect and occasionally A*****eish. So AA does its best down here. Delta has been a problem scheduling, as has United.
And I will do almost anything to avoid riding in those Embassier (sp? D#$! French planes) planes. Killer on tailbone. I always get two pillows or pillow and blanket on those -- and sit on one thing, the other in the small of my back.
