love the air, hate the airline...

lagilmanStuck in SFO, delayed by fog and a captain grounded in Los Angeles. Am not happy. There is a whole terminal of Not Happy People, especially those who have or are going to miss connections -- the flight to Los Angeles that was supposed to leave at 9pm is now scheduled to depart at 12:50, etc. Me, I just am not happy that my estimated 6:50am arrival time on the East Coast has become a maybe-by-9am arrival time -- with several hours travel after that before I get home.
Cranky. Yes. Hate hate hate American Airlines, they of the "we don't know and we can't help you' customer disservice. And of course the bars and restaurants and stores are all closed. If a 7/11 can stay open all night, you'd think an international airport deli could do the same, non?
Oh well. I have chocolate and crackers, a bottle of iced tea, and internet connectivity. I just have to survive until we board, and then -- hopfully -- I will sleeeeeep.
