I just slid out of my chair and landed flat on my ass and never felt it because I was laughing too damned hard.

I was telling my folks that story and my dad actually stopped dead in his tracks, gave a very small smile that is more of a reaction than actual laughter, shook his head slightly, and went on into the kitchen.
