lagilman: coffee or die (caffeine)

posting from Lovely Burbs of Boston, attending yet another bar mitzvah. Or rather, recovering from same*, as I try to plow through the last of the revisions to RETRIEVERS 5 prior to heading over to Pandemonium for the signing.

After this, there are no more bar/bas mitzvahs for at least two years. Yay. Then, god help us, the weddings graduations will start. Eeeeeee!

As an aside, there is a particularly interesting sensation when, in an unfamiliar locale late at night, being handed a GPS system and told 'this will get you to your destination,' and then having the battery on the GPS die on you halfway there. I was tired enough not to have even a flutter of panic as I figured it out, although I did have a few choice Anglo-Saxonisms to share with the Universe.

* In case anyone was wondering (and if so, why?), I can do The Twist while wearing 4" heels. Yes, without breaking anything.

Actually - the great thing about bar mitzvahs - free food! Is it just me - or are they getting more and more elaborate? My friend just had to go throw a combined bar/bat mitzvah for her twins and she's still recovering.

On another note: you said that you would bee in San Diego in at the end of July. I presume that will be at Comic-Con. What days will you be there? I wasn't planning on going, but if you'll be there I will definitely do my best to make it. :)
