lagilman: coffee or die (burning bridges cover)
[personal profile] lagilman
Although the official publication date for Burning Bridges is Tuesday, it's already been released into the wild (I know this because I got a fan e-letter yesterday, making her the fastest fan in the South [Books-a-Million in Louisiana])

So I'm curious -- if you see it, tag it and report back the where and the when!

On amazon, you can buy it, not just pre-order.

I'll take a look at my BandN today or tomorrow, but not holding my breath.

Patrick told me he was putting a copy on my hold pile at the store earlier in the week ... I don't remember exactly what day...

I'm sure it was probably on the shelves and in the new arrivals section before it made it to my humble pile. If you're terribly curious, you could email Patrick at mystgalaxy.com and ask him what the date stamped on its "New in May" shelftalker is... :)

Roanoke, VA Barnes and Noble, as of Friday the 25th. It even sports some swanky quotes from my SF Site reviews of BRING IT ON and STAYING DEAD. Whee!

Of course... they even had a stack faceup on the new trade paperbacks arrival table in the front. :>

I'll look for it tomorrow, but I thought you should know that the first three books in the series were on the bookstore shelves -- and that's way up here, in a relatively small (30,000) city in Canada.

I have to say, I love my publisher for making sure all the backlist is available and easy to order in support of the new title. It seems a simple and obvious thing, but so often it gets overlooked...

Amen, sister!

Sighted a shelf copy of Burning Bridges in a chain bookstore on the East Coast of Canada. I put it face up (no wallet with me). The other copies were also loose, like someone had just bought a book. I'll be picking it up, or ordering it this weekend. :)

B&N Farmington (by the WestFarms Mall) has it in stock a-plenty.

Edmonton, Albert, Canada bookstores are carrying copies of Burning Bridges. I pre-ordered mine and have been informed it's on it's way. The bookstore web page still shows it being released 01 June. Go figure. I'm not sure you're aware that Luna Books (Harlequin) is not showing your book yet so we can't order from there.

Probably should mention that it was at a Borders on the new release trade paperback table at the front. Also back in sf/f.

As far as Borders is concerned, the street date was the 25th. The Harlequin books and various imprints usually come out the Friday before the 'official' date. Book was received and out! I was going to peruse it, but I'm waiting for BEA.

There were fliers at Balticon and I'll be getting it from Amazon tomorrow. Of course I'll be telling everyone at work to buy all your books, if they haven't already...

Nine copies at Chapters in Waterloo, Ontario (Canada :-) Seven were faced out even before I got there.

(My "rather the worse for the journey" copy was waiting in my mailbox when I got home tonight.)

I ordered it through Chapters. The other two books in the parcel were fine. Yours unfortunately took a knock to the upper back corner of the spine. Poor book. (I'm enjoying reading it though. :-)

Maybe a little late to the game, but I spotted several copies at the local BDaltons in Arlington, VA. I will probably acquire it this weekend.
