unless the temps go into the 90's and stay there for more than two days, I really don't need a/c -- the natural shade, cross-breeze and ceiling fans keep the place pretty cool. If we get a heat wave like we did last summer, all bets are off, and I flee for the movie theater.

Lucky you. W's allergies are so bad that we don't keep the windows open anywhere except on Lake Michigan.

But I can visit Chicago in July and need a light blanket at night. Boy, I miss that.

Consider yourself lucky. One of the ladies on the HQ boards, from Alberta Canada just had 10 cm of SNOW! It's almost June for chrissy sake.


BTW, can anyone tell me why LJ keeps logging me out. I used to be able to stay logged in forever. And now, when I check in here, I have to log in before posting or I'm anonymous. WTF?
