weather update

lagilmanWind had been picking up all afternoon, but the sky was merely overcast with occasional sun. Thunder started about fifteen minutes ago, and suddenly someone turned out the lights. I got the windows closed just before the rain started -- it's currently lashing at the windows like it's pissed it can't get in.
Our first thunderstorm of the season. *is gleeful* I suspect we're in for a night of rolling rain fronts.
Update: Yep, looks to be rolling fronts. This is going to be fun, she said without a trace of sarcasm.
(and of course, ten minutes before I get an e-mail -- "wanna go out tonight?" Excellent timing, C. Really. :-P )
