i love Whoopi Goldeberg. she's a hoot. too bad i don't get that channel. (Bravo is a channel, right? is it a channel on cable? :>) and who is George Carlin, if you don't mind my asking?

Satirical comedian, known most of all for the "Seven Words" routine, which asked if the Federal Communications Commission had any power to regulate a radio broadcast that is indecent but not obscene. He's gotten too bitter and nasty in recent years for my taste, but for decades was one of the funniest fkcuers on stage. IMO, anyway.

oh!!!! ok, i remember him now. i rememeber him now that i've seen his face, but for the life of me i couldn't remember his name before. i don't remember much of his comedy content, but i do remember him, the person.
